On our recent trip to NYC, we were on a mission to eat a variety of ethnic foods for each of our meals. My mom requested Chinese/Dim Sum and after searching Yelp for recommendations, we landed on 3 Times. We went to the Lower East Side location and it was a great experience. We were there shortly after opening, so we had the place to ourselves, which was awesome during a pandemic.
We started with an order of the Scallion Pancakes. They were so flaky and delicious and the sauce they served with it took the dish to a whole new level. Next, we dove into their Dim Sum menu and had the Shrimp Siu Mai, which was stuffed with shrimp, pork, scallions, ginger, and sesame oil. Then it was onto the Soup Dumpling menu, where we had the Crab Roe & Pork Soup Dumplings and the Spicy Pork Soup Dumplings. Both were fantastic – especially for a cold NY day! We ended our meal with the Crispy Duck. It was good, but I would probably opt for a different dish the next time we visit.
