Are you having a party soon and looking for an elegant, yet easy appetizer? If so, you should definitely consider these Antipasto Skewers. If you’re looking for a fancy presentation, and something that can be made in advance, this is the dish for you! No doubt, your guests are going to be impressed! The options are endless and you can’t go wrong with meat, cheese, and veggies on a stick.
You want all of your antipasto items to be of a similar size. It gives a better presentation and is easier to eat that way. You can also drizzle some fresh balsamic vinegar reduction on each of the skewers as a way to add additional flavor.
How to Make Antipasto Skewers
This recipe for antipasto skewers couldn’t be any easier. Simply purchase your favorite Italian meats, cheese and vegetables and thread them onto decorative skewers. That’s all there is to it! This time, I went with tortellini, artichoke hearts, black olives, marinated mozzarella balls, fresh basil, cherry tomatoes, and artisan salami. Other great choices would be prosciutto, chunks of parmesan or asiago cheese, artichoke hearts, pickled Cremini mushrooms, green olives, cherry peppers or Pepperoncini.
