I often watch Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives with Guy Fieri from The Food Network. And love seeing what unique creations chefs across the country are cooking up. I don’t think we will ever make it to all of the featured restaurants to try all the featured dishes. So, when I see something on the show that makes my mouth water, I will try to recreate it at home. This Ba’Corn Cheese dish from The Bun Shop in Los Angeles, CA is one dish that had me salivating.
How can you go wrong with a dish made of sweet corn, smothered in bacon and cheese? It is right up there with chocolate cake and french fries in my opinion! If you want to bump up the spice level a bit, I think you could add some sriracha and all would be right with the world. To serve Ba’Corn Cheese, you can place a bite on top of a tortilla chip, flour or corn tortilla, or eat it straight out of the skillet. Any way that you choose to serve it, it will be delicious! The only problem with this recipe is that it will likely be gone in seconds and your friends and family will certainly want more. I know every time I’ve made this dish, my family gobbles it up in no time.
